Role-Based Workflow Assessment
We take a unique and necessary view of workflow in terms of end-user adoption. Whereas most workflow designs begin with IT functionality and end with patient-flow modifications, we design with the end-user’s required know-how as a priority. The outcome of this assessment is not a fundamental change in the pre-designed workflow but rather a complete understanding, by job role, of an end-user’s knowledge requirements to rapidly adopt the new application. This assessment exposes gaps in role definition, prioritizes skill development and identifies, by name, all individuals that must ultimately adopt the new application.
